Campaign launched to engage citizens in the next European panel – 4 November 2025
The European Commission has launched a new initiative to involve 150 citizens randomly selected from across the 27 EU Member States in a European panel on preparedness.
Participants, chosen by the Sortition Foundation on behalf of the Commission, will meet in Brussels to develop concrete recommendations supporting the European strategy for a Union of Preparedness, aimed at strengthening the EU’s capacity to respond effectively to future crises.
